What made you make the move to Centrica Energy?
I joined Centrica Energy because I already felt like an Energy Mover by Nature, and the vision and strategy of Centrica Energy really spoke to me. It seemed (and still seems) meaningful to work for a company that wants to energise a greener, fairer future.
Biggest learnings during the Graduate Programme:
Besides gaining insight into the world of commodity trading and renewable asset management, my biggest learning has been not to fear change or failure. Taking on new challenges can be intimidating, but through this, I have grown and learned the most.

1st rotationTrade Support Power. This was a perfect first rotation for getting to know the power market and understanding how Centrica Energy operates in power trading. One of my primary tasks in this role was managing traders’ and back-office employees’ access to several external trading and data platforms. -
2nd rotationContract Management. In this role, my primary focus was on contracts with our German renewable asset customers. I was involved in the full process - from obtaining internal approvals and drafting contracts to sending them for signing and registering them. -
3rd rotationBusiness Management. This rotation provided a holistic view of the company and a constant focus on looking ahead. My main responsibilities were on the trading side of the business, where I managed to onboard several new trading products and drafted a larger business case for an internally developed IT system.
